Derwent Macdee Metro Rapid 3 Part Square Toilet Cistern Lever Flush Syphon
The Macdee Metro 3-part WRAS approved syphon range provides the most traditional, tried and tested solution for lever flush WC Flushing. The range includes four distinct shapes to ensure compatibility with most cisterns; oblong, round, d shaped and square.
These syphons have an easy to remove upper section allowing for easy maintenance or replacement without the need to remove the cistern. The syphon comes complete with a backnut, a coupling nut, sealing washer and a low level flush pipe seal as standard. All syphons come with a pre-installed diaphragm washer and feature an internal overflow.
The square version is recommended for use in narrow, deep cisterns where space may be an issue.
Please note: All syphons in the Macdee Metro range are now made from grey plastic. These syphons are usually compatible with almost all of the older, green, red, or blue cap syphons from Macdee, however some of the older batches used a slightly different design / thread for the securing nut on the top the stem / downpipe. As such, the new syphon may not be compatible with some of the older stems. In such a case you'll likely need to replace the complete syphon assembly including the stem, as syphons with this older connection are no longer manufactured.
